The Speedway Control Bureau (SCB)) have announced that Sheffield Promoter Mrs Julie Reading will replace the outgoing Mr Chris Van Straaten as a BSP Ltd Representative on the SCB panel.
With the Wolverhampton team not trading in 2024, and Mr Van Straaten no longer being a BSP Ltd Promoter, Mr Van Straaten had to stand down from his role with the SCB.
At the BSP Ltd AGM in November the BSP Members nominated and voted for Mrs Reading to replace Mr Van Straaten, of which Mrs Reading accepted the position.
SCB Co Ordinator Neil Vatcher, wished to thank Mr Van Straaten for his hard work and commitment to the SCB over many years, and hopes to see both Wolverhampton and Mr Van Straaten back in the sport in 2025, as well as welcoming Mrs Reading to her new role as a member of the SCB.
