AT the British Under-21 Qualifier which took place at Plymouth on Tuesday April 29, an error was made with the final classification, where it had been stated prior to the event that to resolve any ties for the 8th and last qualifying place, there would be a race-off between the riders tied on the same points.
In the classification Freddy Hodder was positioned 8th, and Senna Summers was positioned 9th, whereas as both riders had scored eight points a race-off should have taken place.
It is with regret that the race-off did not happen and this was an error by the officials.
After looking at all the scenarios after the event, Senna Summers has gracefully accepted the first reserve position for the Final having been understandably very upset at the outcome.
The SCB would like to apologise for the error and would like to thank Senna Summers for his understanding in this matter.
