BOTH the Speedway Control Bureau (SCB) and the British Speedway Promoters Ltd (BSP Ltd) continue to support the Youth Development of British Riders at all tracks.
Over the last two years conversations have taken place regarding the use of Electric Motorcycles (E-Bikes) on SCB Licenced tracks.
The SCB have been working closely with the Insurers of the BSP Ltd, and currently due to the Health and Safety of handling E-Bikes in the case of an accident or incident, and the training of the Officials and Medical Staff, it is with regret that at this time E-Bikes will not be allowed to take part at venues which have been licenced by the SCB.
Discussions will continue to take place regarding the use of E-Bikes, and we will all work towards allowing E-Bikes to have a place within British Speedway, and at venues licenced by the SCB, at some point in the future.
