The Speedway Control Bureau (SCB) were aware that Belle Vue's Brady Kurtz returned from his recent ankle ligament injury to represent his Polish League Club Rybnik in their league fixture on the 15th June 2024.
Despite Mr Kurtz competing in four races for his Polish League Club, he was withdrawn from his fifth heat and subsequently suffered a reoccurrence of his previous ankle ligament injury.
The SCB were informed on the 17th June 2024 that due to this reoccurrence ankle injury Mr Kurtz would now not be available to return to the Belle Vue team in their fixture at Sheffield on the 20th June 2024
The SCB requested that a new medical certificate would be required to enable Belle Vue a facility.
A new medical certificate from Mr Kurtz was received by the SCB on the 18th June 2024
Therefore, as Mr Kurtz had received this injury whilst competing for his Polish League Club, and the SCB had received a new medical certificate, the SCB Regulation 010.5 g) would allow Belle Vue a facility for a period up to 28 days from the date of the next Belle Vue fixture which took place at Sheffield on the 20th June 2024
Belle Vue have been informed that if Mr Kurtz competes in any other events during this period the facility will not be extended after the 28 days and will end on the 17th July.
As of the 17th July 2024, if the facility has not been extended then Mr Kurtz must return or be replaced
